The 2024 Zhongguancun Forum opened in Beijing on April 25. With the theme of "Innovation: Building a Better World", this forum has five major sections, including forum meetings and technology trading conferences. Nearly 120 activities focus on cutting-edge fields of science and technology such as artificial intelligence, life sciences, and new materials. It also conducts ideological collisions and scientific and technological exchanges around cutting-edge fields of science and technology such as 6G, brain-computer interfaces, blockchain, and synthetic biological manufacturing. A number of the latest major scientific and technological achievements will be released at the forum.

The forum has a high degree of international participation, with foreign guests from more than 100 countries and regions participating, and foreign speakers accounting for more than 50% of the forum. The Frontier Competition has collected more than 3,100 entries from 75 countries and regions, with international projects accounting for more than 40%. The Technology Trading Conference further highlights the global, cutting-edge and effectiveness, bringing together more than 6,000 innovative projects from more than 40 countries and regions. The forum activities will last until April 29.
