Today (March 27), the National Natural Science Foundation of China released the "Top Ten Advances in Chinese Science" for 2024.
The “Top Ten Advances in Chinese Science” in 2024 are:
Chang'e 6 returned samples reveal volcanic activity on the far side of the moon 2.8 billion years ago
Realizing intelligent reasoning and training of large-scale optical computing chips
Elucidate the transport mechanism of monoamine neurotransmitters and the drug regulation mechanism of related mental illnesses
Nanolasers with atomic-scale features and reconfigurable optical frequency phased arrays
Discovery of the giant magnetocaloric effect in the spin supersolid state and a new mechanism for ultra-low temperature refrigeration
Allogeneic CAR-T cell therapy for autoimmune diseases
Extra X chromosome affects male germ cell development in multiple dimensions
Experimental discovery of graviton modes in condensed matter
Creation of actinide radiation photovoltaic micro-core battery with high energy conversion efficiency
Important evidence found that supermassive black holes affect the formation and evolution of host galaxies
The selection of the "Top Ten Scientific Advances in China" was hosted by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. More than 2,700 experts and scholars, including more than 440 academicians of the two academies, conducted two rounds of review and voting on more than 700 basic research results on the candidate list, and finally determined the ten major scientific achievements.
